Dr. Nigel Cook has studied the transmission of enteric pathogenic viruses through food, and the environment, since 1995.  Now an independent researcher, he is actively involved in standardisation of HEV detection, and in contributing to international Guidelines and Scientific Opinions on foodborne viruses.
