Dr. Branko Velebit is an experienced food microbiologist with a strong track record in science communication, dissemination, and public health outreach, supported by more than 90 peer-reviewed publications and numerous invited presentations at international conferences. He has extensive experience translating complex scientific outcomes to policymakers, industry stakeholders, and the wider public through active roles in EU-funded projects, COST Actions, and leadership of international scientific conferences, as well as long-standing editorial responsibilities in high-impact journals. His sustained collaboration with European institutions, including EFSA and ISO/CEN working groups, demonstrates his ability to coordinate effective, high-quality communication and dissemination strategies at the European level.
